What is the gestation period of a sow? If you answered 3 months 3 weeks 3 days you would be correct. On Thursday March 12th, Eva Hocking, Peter Koeling, Nevada Debault, Coy Crull, Courtney Potts, Gus Kolb, and Gehrig Jones competed as a team in the Section 23 Varsity QuizBowl CDE.  During this competition, members were asked questions about several different aspects of agriculture. The team placed 5th overall. That same evening the Section 23 Public Speaking competitions were going on. Coy Crull won 4th place in Varsity Extemporaneous, Eva Hocking placed 4th in JV Extemporaneous, Courtney Potts came home with 4th place in Varsity Prepared, Nevada Debault won 9th in JV Prepared, and Peter Koeling placed 14th in Creed Speaking. Each individual put their all into their speech and we could not be more proud of our hard working members.
