MCGS is proud to announce that 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Julie Herman, is a recipient of an Ag in the Classroom (AITC) classroom grant. AITC awards teachers across the state of Illinois with funds for agricultural activities. Mrs. Herman has set up a compost bin/worm farm in which students are learning about composting.
