The new 5th grade beginning band students had their first week of band this week which is called Beginning Band Bootcamp. They are learning important basics such as how to assemble their instrument, take care of their instrument, produce a sound on their instrument and play their first 5 notes! We finish up Friday and then will have a refresher day on July 31. Students are off to a great start and will be ready for full band in the fall!
