Students in Honors English IV

Mrs. Shilling's Honors English IV class is studying Ovid's Metamorphoses in conjunction with Feminism Theory. Coy Crull, Trent Rafferty and Orrin Bromm were part of a debate that argued whether Ovid presented women as weak or strong (according to the definition laid out in our theory textbook) in the excerpts of Metamorphoses that we analyzed in Honors English IV. They took it upon themselves to dress professionally for the debate because they were determined to win.  Dressing for success paid off, they won.
