Student Council

Mt. Carmel Junior High Student Leadership Council presented the Bullying Prevention program, Stop-Walk-Talk to all 7th and 8th grade students today. The program teaches students how to handle disrespectful situations before they become incidents of bullying. In addition, Mrs. Taylor, School Social Worker, presented the SOS program (Signs of Suicide) which is a universal, school based depression awareness and suicide prevention program for middle school students. Both programs are well established at the Junior High and have been implemented for over five years.  Students will once again visit the SOS program during their sophomore Health class.
