Congratulations to the following MCJHS students who were selected by audition to be in the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA) District Festival ensembles.
Junior Band: Wyatt Alka, Wyatt Bader, Megan Hagerty, Riyah Hall, Abigail May and Adeline May. Junior Choir: Noah Alka, Lathan Beal, Kyndall Boze, Austin Curtis, Jaden Heinrich, Lukas Madlem, Macy Mandrell, Glenna McVaigh, Heaven Miskell, Natalie Roberts, Rease Singer and Jersey Smith. Junior Jazz Band: Wyatt Alka, Glenna McVaigh, Natalie Roberts and Ethan Sellers. The jazz festival and concert will be on Monday, November 4 and the band and choir festival will be on Saturday, November 23. Both events will be held at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL.
