On Saturday, March 21, 2026 the MCJHS Band & Choir both performed for a panel of judges and received the highest rating of Superior from all judges. The judges worked with them afterwards and commented on their outstanding performances, behavior and professionalism. The choir performed "Alleluia" by Mozart/arr.Liebergen, "Inscription of Hope" by Z. Randall Stroope and "Set Down Servant" arr. by Roger Emerson. The band performed "Abington Ridge" by Ed Huckeby, "Faith Eternal" by Carol Brittin Chambers and "Our Heritage March" by Karl King/arr. By James Swearingen.
The Jr High Band & Choir are under the direction of Mrs. Ellen Wall.
