FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE

We've been talking about figurative language in 8th Grade Language Arts Class!  Students read their books each day independently.  For a challenge, when they notice when figurative language pops up, they write it down on post-its, and stick it under the appropriate category. Classes are competing against each other and a Jolly Rancher party goes to the winning class to celebrate!
