Students buying and selling stocks form their stock brokers

Last week the eighth graders participated in a stock market simulation where the students were able to buy and sell stocks of actual companies from the 1920s. Students would get a stock prospectus from each year and decide which stocks they wanted to buy and sell from their stockbrokers each year.  The simulation ends with students getting a literal crash course on the stock market crash of 1929, that leads into the great depression. Big thanks to Mrs. Bobbitt and Mrs. Morris for being our stock brokers for the day.
