MCGS book fair starts next week 10/28 as well as Red Ribbon Week. Monday's theme: Wear Red to show that you're drug free.
5/6 grade boys basketball tryouts will be Thursday 10/24 700-830 at MCGS.

Mrs. Webb's 4th grade class has been learning about earthquakes in science. Their goal today was to construct a building that can withstand a jello earthquake using toothpicks and marshmallows after reading about what engineers do to make buildings structurally sound.
The paragon fall fundraiser items will be going home tomorrow with students after school. If your child has a large order and would like to pick up after school please contact the office. Money from orders are due in the office no later than October 18. Thank you for participating in our fall fundraiser.
Fourth grade had a great field trip at Beall Woods. Thanks to the Beall Woods staff for making it a great educational experience for our students

This letter is to inform you about the Wabash Community Unit School District #348 breakfast program. Wabash District #348 has a breakfast program like our lunch program. Breakfast is provided by the kitchen staff at all schools. Breakfast is $1.00 and is served from 7:20 a.m. until 7:53 a.m. Please tell your child about our breakfast program. We look forward to seeing them.

Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) student results will be coming home for all students in 4th - 9th grade today, October 1st.
This is a reminder that all school registration fees need to be paid by October 31st. If you have not paid your registration fees you will receive an invoice in the mail listing the amount that you owe. Payments can be made online, by mail or bring into the school office.
MCGS picture day is tomorrow 9/17, students will need to bring picture envelope with payment.
