Wabash CUSD #348 2026 Calendar Change - Due to Wabash CUSD #348 participating in the upcoming Wabash County Emergency Management exercise, all Wabash CUSD #348 schools will have a three-hour early dismissal on Monday, August 24th, 2026. Additionally, September 4th, 2026 will now be a Teacher Institute Day, which is a non-attendance day for students.

The Wabash County CUSD #348 student health record drop-off will be on Friday, July 24th, from 9 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Junior/Senior High School for all grade levels. Registration portals for the 2026-2027 school year will be locked for students who require health records for admission. Students entering Kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade, and 12th grade are required to have physicals and/or immunizations for school entry. The Mt. MCGS Awards Day is this Friday, May 22. 5th/6th Grade Awards will be begin at 12:30 and 3rd/4th Grade Awards will begin at 2PM. Awards to be given include Honor Roll, top AR reader, and band/choir awards.
MCGS Parents: In an effort to be safe and cautious, our students were evacuated outdoors this morning after some electronic equipment began to smoke in the technology storage room and the fire alarm was initiated. All students and staff are safe and well. Mt. Carmel emergency services responded promptly and worked quickly to help us resume our normal day.

FREE Sports Physicals: Once again, FREE sports physicals will be provided by Wabash General Hospital on May 13th during the school day at Mt. Carmel Jr/Sr High School. The physical is offered to any student anticipating playing a sport in the 2026-2027 school year. This service is available to the CURRENT WABASH CUSD #348 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders only. We encourage you to click on the link below to schedule your child for this free service. This physical will be entered into Final Forms and will fulfill the requirement for the 2026-2027 school year. Transportation will be provided for any current 6th grader participating.
