TESTING: As a reminder IAR testing will begin next Monday (3/23) at Mount Carmel Grade School and Mount Carmel Jr. High School. Timing is important for the state exams so please have your student at school on time. As always cellphones and smartwatches will not be permitted. Students will need a pair of WIRED earbuds/headphones for the exams.

SAVE THE DATE: Once again, FREE sports physicals will be provided by Wabash General Hospital on May 13th during the school day at Mt. Carmel Jr/Sr High School. The physical is offered to any Wabash CUSD #348 student anticipating playing a sport in the 2026-2027 school year. This service is available only to current 6th, 7th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. We encourage you to schedule your child for this free service so that there will not be a need to get a new sports physical during the next school year. MCGS Parents- Due to a water line break, the Grade School will be without water beginning at 12PM noon today. Restrooms will be limited. If you would like to pick up your student, you are free to do so. Buses will still run at the regularly scheduled times.

Picture Retake day will be held on Wednesday, January 14 for Mt. Carmel Grade School. This is for students who were absent on the initial picture day or any student that needs their picture retaken. This is also for students new to our school.

Earlier today, all Wabash CUSD 348 district schools were put on lockdown for a brief period of time. This was due to a fluid situation at Wabash Valley College. Upon being cleared to resume normal school activities, the schools were taken off lockdown. At no time was there ever a threat to the schools. I want to thank all faculty and staff for properly performing their duties.
