ALLENDALE RURITAN CLUB 2025 JIM BARGER SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship is a one-time-only contribution of $600 to assist with tuition, room and board, textbooks, or fees. The recipient must be eligible to graduate from Mt. Carmel High School AND have been promoted from Allendale Elementary School. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Due to low numbers in the Casey Westfield girl’s basketball program, the girl’s basketball game scheduled for Monday, January 27th at Mt. Carmel High School will be varsity only beginning at 6:00pm. This will also be Senior Night for the Lady Aces. The Senior Night ceremony will begin at 5:30pm.
Due to injuries and illnesses, the MCHS Wrestling Team will not compete in the Mt. Vernon Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, January 25th.

The MCHS Boys Basketball Game scheduled for Saturday, January 18th at home against Eldorado will now start with the Fresh/Soph game at 5:00pm, the JV game at 6:15pm, and the Varsity game at 7:30pm.Â

Today, Thursday January 16th, Mt. Carmel Junior Senior High School will participate in a scheduled drill to practice lockdown procedures. This drill will be conducted in collaboration with Mt. Carmel Police Department. Again, this will be a DRILL.
