The halls were filled with several Alumni at Mount Carmel High School this Saturday. Great stories were shared! Part of the tour stopped in the library for me to take a pic. Several folks broke off and conducted their personal tour. Go Aces!

Just a reminder to all students attending the Homecoming Dance at the City Park Shelter this weekend. Parking at the Fairgrounds is closed due to a private event. Please take advantage of the WVC parking lot shuttle for your memorable night. Parent drop off and pick up is also a great option. Be safe Aces!

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the 1981 State Championship Football Team. This year we were able to purchase uniforms as a tribute to that team and the other great Aces teams of the past. We would like to thank our “Outfit an Ace” corporate sponsors for making these "Throwback" uniforms possible. Come check them out tomorrow night!

Be on the lookout for flamingos! MCHS FBLA has started one of their fall fundraisers. No yard is off limits, even the sponsor's!

For those students attending the Homecoming Dance at the City Park Shelter this Saturday, parking will be limited. We will be offering off-site parking at Wabash Valley College (near the Fitness Center) with a shuttle to the dance (masks must be worn on the shuttle). The shuttle will run 7-7:30 and 10-10:30. We strongly encourage students to carpool as much as possible and use parental drop off as needed.

MCHS FBLA officers provided students and staff with donuts this morning for Homecoming Week!

Midterm grades are posted for all Mount Carmel High School and Mount Carmel Junior High School students on Lumen. Have a great weekend and Go Aces!

As a reminder, today is the last day to purchase Chromebook insurance for the year. The easiest way is to go to schooldevicecoverage.com. The cost of insurance for the school year is $20. The form is going to ask whether it is a Lenovo or an HP and also the serial number that is found on the bottom of the device. If it is hard to read, you can also sign out of the device and press "CTRL and V" at the same time and the SN will be listed at the top right hand corner of the screen.
While I have you, there will be a menu change for Monday's lunch menu. It will be a ham and cheese on bun instead of the chicken patty.

The Industrial Tech classes were fortunate enough to have HLR
Civil Engineering Firm visit and share with us what they do and the tools they use to survey and scan.
They also explained what jobs are available after high school and the paths needed to work in the field.
Thanks to HLR for the experience!

Attention current freshmen and 8th graders: If you missed your chance to order a 2020-2021 MCJHS yearbook, you are in luck! There are a limited number of copies still available for purchase for $30. See Mrs. Riggs or Mrs. Bobbitt in room 171 to pick up a copy before they are all gone!

Hey there! My name is Weston DeShon, the Admissions Counselor at Franklin College for Wabash County students and I wanted to send you a quick email because I will be visiting Mount Carmel High School on Tuesday, September 14 @ 12:30 PM and I would love to meet with you.
Franklin College has approximately 1000 undergraduate students so it will not overwhelm you like a big state school may do. Furthermore, we are only 20-30 minutes from Downtown Indianapolis so there are plenty of things to do on and off campus. It makes for a nice dynamic where you can get a big city feel, but not be right in the middle of the city
Franklin College is a 4-year institution that participates at the NCAA Division 3 level. We offer over 50 different majors in different academic disciplines, 2 grad programs, and 21 men’s and women’s sports including a brand new eSports team! Click on the links below if you want more information regarding our academic and athletic programs.
