Opportunity for Remote Learners to Return to In-Person After two weeks of successful four day in-person learning in the schools, we are confident that we can accommodate more students. We have had calls from numerous parents requesting that their child return to in-person instruction. Therefore, we are announcing a window for remote learners to return to in-person instruction. This window will be October 13th-16th. This opportunity coincides with the beginning of the second quarter. This opportunity will not reemerge until the end of the first semester. If you do want your child to return to in-person instruction, prior to returning you must notify the school office at least one day before the student may return to in-person instruction.

As a reminder, students in full remote learning must comply with the following: a) Reliable internet access. b) Parent/Guardian commitment to supervise and assist in the facilitation of learning in the home environment. c) Must be periodically progress monitored by trained Wabash #348 personnel. A very limited number of preschool screening appointments are still available! Preschool for All will be conducting preschool screenings for birth to 5 year old children who are not yet enrolled in public schools and who are not kindergarten eligible. This screening program is free and parents will receive immediate feedback on how their child is developing. Preschool Screenings will be held on September 8th, 9th, and 10th. The screening procedure takes about 45 minutes, and appointments must be made so that children do not have a long wait period. Parents should call 618-262-4623 to make an appointment or to get more information.
