The 2025 DCFS Scholarship Application is live and available until March 31, 2025. Applicant must meet one of the following educational requirements: 1. Earned a high school diploma from an accredited institution, or 2. Earned a General Education Development (GED) certificate/diploma or 3. Met the state criteria for high school graduation before the start of the school year for which they are applying for the scholarship. In addition, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: 4. The Department has court-ordered legal responsibility for the applicant, or 5. The applicant aged out of the Department’s care at age 18 or older, or 6. Carmel Elks Lodge #715. Members must be in good standing at the time of application and have been in good standing for at least (2) years before application. Good evening. With the advancement of our Lady Aces Basketball team to the state semi-finals in Bloomington on Thursday, all Wabash 348 schools will not be in session on Thursday, March 6th. There are numerous families, students, and fans traveling that day to the game, and the District wants to promote attendance at this historic event for Lady Aces Basketball. At a later date, an amendment will be made to the school calendar to make up the mandatory attendance day. Go Aces!

The Wabash County Chamber scholarship is now available in the Guidance Office. The applicant or parent must be a Chamber Member in good standing to be eligible to apply. The deadline for applications is April 25th.

Indiana Wesleyan Wind Ensemble will be performing at Mt. Carmel High School for the district's instrumental students on Monday, March 3rd, as part of their spring break tour. We are anticipating this collaboration and look forward to a great day of making music together!

The Gladys C. Fisher Trust scholarship is now available in the Guidance Office.  This scholarship is limited to Mt. Carmel High School seniors pursuing a career involving music.  The deadline is April 10, 2025.
