~~GAME DAY PARKING ON LOWER LEVEL OF MCHS RIVERVIEW STADIUM~~ There is no parking on Golden Aces Way Road. Parking directly behind Legends Fieldhouse is reserved for athletes, buses, officials, and those on pass gate. It is not open to public parking. Spectator parking at the bottom of the stadium will be at the Junior Aces parking lot on the East side of Golden Aces Way and the side lot of Legends Fieldhouse, which has handicapped parking.
"It's that time of year again. The MCHS wrestling team will be offering a Preseason clinic for anyone interested in/planning on wrestling this season. This clinic is open to all Pre-K through 6th-grade students and will be held in the MCHS wrestling room on Tuesday and Thursday evenings in October.

The MCHS Boys Golf Match scheduled for Thursday, September 5th at home against Carmi has been cancelled. This match will not be rescheduled.

Picture Day: All MCHS Students will have their school picture taken on Wednesday 9/4/24. All MCJHS Students will have their school picture taken on Thursday 9/5/24.
The MCHS girls tennis match scheduled for today at Olney, has now been POSTPONED. We are looking at possible dates to reschedule this match.
The MCHS girls golf match at Harrisburg and boys golf match at home, have both been CANCELLED for today due to the excessive heat.
The MCHS Girls Tennis match scheduled for today in Olney will now begin at 5:30pm. The bus will now leave at 4:00pm.
The Mt. Carmel High School JV football game scheduled for Monday, September 2nd has been changed. Mt. Carmel will now be playing a fresh/soph game AT Eldorado on Monday, September 2nd at 6:00pm.
The Mt. Carmel High School volleyball match scheduled for Thursday, August 29th against Edwards County will now be played at Mt. Carmel Grade School.
The freshmen match will start at 5:00pm, the JV will start at 6:00pm, with the varsity match to follow.
The Mt. Carmel High School boys and girls golf matches scheduled for today at home against Robinson have been cancelled due to the excessive heat.
Computer Apps students in Mrs. Witsman's room are working on a career unit. Ask your child what career cluster he/she scored highest in and what path interests him/her for the future!
2024 Homecoming will be the Weekend of September 20 and 21.
The Homecoming Parade will be at 3:30 p.m.. Those wishing to participate in the parade should line up in the back parking lot of the high school by 3:00 p.m.
The Homecoming Game will be at 7:00 p.m. against the Newton Eagles, with the crowning of the Queen during Halftime.
On Saturday, September 21, the Homecoming Dance for the High School will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Grade School Cafetorium. Admission is $5. If a student is taking a non-Mt. Carmel student, they must fill out and return a from the high school office by September 13th.
Mallory Fuller and Ally Kendall, with Full Stadium Marketing, visited the Business Communications class today. They shared insightful tips and advice for our students on how to build a strong brand identity for their upcoming business partners.

The Mt. Carmel Golden Aces football team will host Edwards County in a preseason football scrimmage on Friday, August 23rd at 7:00pm. Cost of admission is a Gatorade!
