The MCHS Boys Tennis match scheduled for Thursday, March 30th at Robinson has been postponed. This match will be rescheduled for Monday, April 17th in Robinson.

The MCHS JV Baseball game scheduled for today at Mt. Vernon, IN has been cancelled. This game will not be rescheduled.

The MCHS JV Baseball game scheduled for today at Carmi has been postponed. This game will be rescheduled for Tuesday, March 28th in Carmi at 4:30pm.

The MCHS Lady Aces Soccer matches scheduled for today in Olney have been postponed. This 3 team tournament will be made up on Saturday, April 15 in Olney.

The MCHS Boys Tennis match scheduled for today against Fairfield has been postponed. This match will be rescheduled for Wednesday, March 29th at the Wabash Valley College Tennis Courts. 

Jostens will be at Mt. Carmel High School on Friday, April 14 during lunch periods to distribute announcements and cap/gowns. It will also be a good time to pay any balances remaining. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Kieffer

STREP THROAT FACT SHEET FOR PARENTS

The MCHS Girls Soccer match scheduled for Tuesday, March 21st against Richland County has been rescheduled for TODAY, Monday, March 20th. The match will start at 4:30pm at Mt. Carmel High School on the turf field. *Due to construction of the new concession stand/locker room building, no vehicles will be allowed to park inside the fence on Golden Aces Way. Vehicles may park on the side of the street, or park at the top of the stadium in the school parking lot.

This message is for all individuals going down to the track and field area. Construction has begun on the new concession stand and locker room facility. Therefore, you will not be able to drive into the area. If you would like to park across the street and walk in, you can do so through the pedestrian gate and along the inside of the fence towards the shot put and discus area and then to the field. Please make sure you adhere to these rules to keep the limitations to a minimum.

The Mt. Carmel JV Baseball game scheduled for today against Edwards County has been postponed. This game will be rescheduled for Wednesday, March 22nd at Dee White Field starting at 4:30pm.

The Mt. Carmel Boys Tennis Match scheduled for today in Flora has been postponed. This match will be rescheduled for Monday, March 20th in Flora at 4:00pm.

The MCHS Varsity and JV baseball games scheduled for Saturday, March 18th vs Fairfield have been rescheduled. - Mt. Carmel will now play Fairfield in Varsity Baseball on Monday, March 27th at 4:30pm at Dee White Field. - Mt. Carmel will now play Fairfield in JV Baseball on Friday, April 14th at 4:30pm at Dee White Field.

The MCHS JV Baseball game against Edwards County on Friday, March 17th will be played at Dee White Field. The game will start at 4:30pm.

Jostens will be at Mt. Carmel High School Fri March 17 outside the main office to distribute graduation items during both lunch periods. If you owe money, you will need to pay that day. If you have any questions, see Mr. Kieffer.

Press Release: Music in Our Schools Month (MIOSM) In March of every year, The National Association for Music Education (NAfME) sponsors “Music in Our Schools Month.” To celebrate MIOSM, the Wabash 348 schools would like to highlight the following music department events coming up this month: Saturday, March 18th We are hosting the Illinois Grade School Music Association (IGSMA) District 4 Solo & Ensemble Contest with 56 entries from Wabash 348 grades 5-8 along with around 200 entries from schools from around the area. It will be held at Mt. Carmel Grade School. Saturday, March 25th the Jr. High Band & Choir will be participating in the IGSMA District Organizational Contest at Casey Middle School in Mt. Vernon, IL. This performance is free and open to the public. The Elks Hal R. Johnson Memorial Scholarship application is now available in the Guidance Office. The deadline is April 21, 2023.
