Seniors: A representative from McKendree University will be here on November 16th. There will be a sign up sheet in the guidance office.
Jostens will be at Mt. Carmel High School in the library Wed Nov 17 to take graduation orders from Seniors. Consumer Economic and American Government classes will be sent to the library to place orders for cap, gowns, etc. Those not in Consumer Economics or American Government classes will need to find a time that day to go to the library to place order. Parents are encouraged to help their Senior fill out the order form and determine what will be ordered. IHSA Football Playoff Ticket Information
Mount Carmel vs Benton
Date: Saturday November 13, 2021
Admission: $7 for all ages except baby in arms
(No passes will be honored per IHSA policy)
ALL tickets must be purchased online,
NO cash transactions at the door.
PURCHASING TICKETS: All tickets for this event will be digital, through GoFan.co/IHSA per the IHSA. The link below can be used to access the event and purchase tickets:

Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase their tickets prior to Friday afternoon to help with any issues that may arise from this ticketing process.
On the day of the game fans will redeem their tickets at the gates using their smartphones. When they arrive at the gate, the ticket taker will need to see the redeemed ticket on your phone. (Purchased tickets should not be redeemed until the fan approaches the gate at the football field.)
Should a fan not have a smartphone we will have a plan in place to redeem their pre-purchased tickets for them. These fans will only be admitted in the top gate on the north side of the stadium entrance by the school.
Midterm grades will be posted at 4PM, Wednesday, November 10th in Lumen.
5th!!! IN THE NATION!!
We finally received results of Liv Alka 's National Agriscience Fair project on the Food Products and Processing of sweet corn and she came in 5th out of 23 individuals from all over the United States. The Mt. Carmel FFA and Ms. Nina Geiling can not put in words how amazing, excited, and proud we are of Liv! This is a first in Mt. Carmel's history that we are aware of.

***Admission: $6 per person in Round 2 of the Playoffs (per IHSA)
Fans of all ages pay the $6 admission fee, except babies that parents carry into the game.
***Artificial noisemakers: (cowbells, milk jugs with rocks in them, etc.) are ALLOWED. Whistles or other noisemakers that might be mistaken for whistles are NOT allowed.
National Honor Society Induction
MCHS/MCJHS will be participating in a Law Enforcement Drill in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 10th. This type of drill is not only mandated by the state of Illinois, but it is also good practice as with any other drill. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the school office.

The (10-0) Mt. Carmel Golden Aces Football Team will host the (8-2) Carlinville Cavaliers on Saturday, November 6th at 2:00pm in the Second Round of the IHSA Class 3A State Football Playoffs. ***Gates will open at 12:00pm. ***Admission is $5.00 per IHSA (No passes will be accepted)
