The First Annual MCHS Art Exhibit Reception will be open this Friday from 5-8 at WVC’s gallery. MCHS Athletic Cancellation: The MCHS baseball game scheduled for today at Red Hill has been POSTPONED. The game will be rescheduled for tomorrow at Red Hill starting at 4:30pm.
The Business Communications class hosted a luncheon today to show appreciation for this year’s business partners. 35 people were in attendance during which lunch was provided by Premium Foods, the students made remarks about the program, and prizes were awarded. Thank you again to our wonderful business partners that show constant support for this program and MCHS students!
The MCHS Girls Track Meet scheduled for today at Carmi has been cancelled due to the threat of severe weather.
The MCHS Woods classes have really RAMPED up their skills lately by building two ramps for the schools yard barns as well as some benches for the pavillion in the front of the school. They really haven't been sitting down on the job!
Allendale Lodge #752 will award the $400 Chester D. Daniels Scholarship to a worthy graduating senior from Mt. Carmel High School. All eligible students are encouraged to apply for this scholarship, but preferences will be given to graduating seniors who attended the Allendale Schools. You need not be affiliated with a Masonic Organization to apply.  Applications are available in the Guidance Office. Deadline is May 10, 2022.
Graduation Practices will be held Tuesday 5/10/22 and Wednesday 5/11/22 from 9-11 AM at MCHS (Thursday 5/12/22 9-11 AM if necessary).
*All Seniors must be promptly present to begin practices *Any Senior that does not attend will not walk in ceremony
Honors Night will be held Thursday, May 12th, 2022 at 7 PM
Graduation will be indoors in MCHS Gymnasium May 14th, 2022 at 10 AM
MCHS Boys and Girls Track Meet Added: The MCHS boys and girls will travel to Red Hill for a meet on Monday, April 25th. This meet was supposed to be at MCHS, but due to construction of the new track, this meet will be moved to Red Hill High School.

We now have applications in the Guidance Office for the Gladys C. Fisher Scholarship. It is a $1000 scholarship limited to seniors of Mt Carmel High School for the field of Music. Deadline is May 5, 2022.

Ivan is one of 22 student athletes chosen from hundreds of applicants from all over the state of Illinois.
