5th!!! IN THE NATION!!
We finally received results of Liv Alka 's National Agriscience Fair project on the Food Products and Processing of sweet corn and she came in 5th out of 23 individuals from all over the United States. The Mt. Carmel FFA and Ms. Nina Geiling can not put in words how amazing, excited, and proud we are of Liv! This is a first in Mt. Carmel's history that we are aware of.

***Admission: $6 per person in Round 2 of the Playoffs (per IHSA)
Fans of all ages pay the $6 admission fee, except babies that parents carry into the game.
***Artificial noisemakers: (cowbells, milk jugs with rocks in them, etc.) are ALLOWED. Whistles or other noisemakers that might be mistaken for whistles are NOT allowed.
National Honor Society Induction
MCHS/MCJHS will be participating in a Law Enforcement Drill in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 10th. This type of drill is not only mandated by the state of Illinois, but it is also good practice as with any other drill. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the school office.

Congratulations to our Cross Country team on advancing 3 runners to the Sectional Tournament this Saturday! Anthony Bleyer, Lily Keepes, and Jason Miller will be running in the St. Theresa Sectional in Decatur on October 30th.
