Due to the icy conditions and no thawing in sight, all Mt. Carmel schools will be closed for in-person instruction for the rest of the week. All students will continue to remain in remote learning. Kathryn G Hansen Scholarship - For the 2021-2022 academic year, one scholarship in the amount of $500 will be awarded. The scholarship is to be used for tuition, fees, books, or other related educational expenses. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
· be enrolled full time as a high school senior in the 2020-2021 academic year in Illinois, progressing normally toward graduation, and planning to enter college no later than the fall following graduation;
· have a strong commitment to pursue a higher education in an office professional, secretarial, or business-related field within the State of Illinois with preference given to attendance at the University of Illinois;
· involvement in co-curricular and community activities;
· demonstrate academic achievement;
· be a resident of Illinois;
· be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.

Rotary International District 6510 Foundation 2021 Scholarship Application The Rotary International District 6510 Scholarship will fund two scholarships to an accredited College or Trade School. Awards will be $2,500.00 each. Winners will be presented at the High School Senior event where Scholarships are awarded. Recipients will agree to have their awards publicized throughout Rotary International District 6510.
