Due to the icy conditions and no thawing in sight, all Mt. Carmel schools will be closed for in-person instruction for the rest of the week. All students will continue to remain in remote learning. Additionally, grab and go food will be provided each day from 11 am to 11:30 am at the grade school kitchen. All in person extra curricular activities are on hold until further notice. It’s official - Jr. High basketball is on! We will be having tryouts this Monday and Tuesday. All 7th and 8th grade boys wanting to play can come from 6:00 - 7:30 at the MCGS gym. Those in quarantine at this time can schedule a make-up tryout once released. Due to the uncertainty of our numbers, we will also be extending these tryouts to our 6th graders. Please bring court shoes and wear appropriate athletic clothing.

As we approach the second semester of the 2020-21 school year, this is a reminder that January 4th is a remote learning day and January 5th is scheduled for returning to in-person instruction. If your child opted to be a remote learner in the first semester but now wants to return to in-person instruction, you are required to contact the school office one day in advance. As usual, Wabash CUSD #348 will be maintaining all COVID-19 safety precautions and will continue to work with the Wabash County Health Department to make the best decisions when considering safety factors.
