
The MCHS JV football team will now travel to Newton for a JV football game on Monday, October 23rd. The game will start at 6:00pm. The bus will leave at 3:45pm.

Great news!!! Mt Carmel Junior/Senior High School has access to Tutor.com for one more year. This website is accessible 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. If your child hasn't used it before, it is a one to one tutoring service. There are actual people on the other end helping your child figure out homework assignments, answering questions while studying for tests, and submitting papers that your child has written for feedback on what can be improved. Additional login information was sent to your child's email account.

MCHS students attending the Sunrise School Spirit event tomorrow morning will be given an ACE pass. The ACE pass will excuse them from Friday's 6th and 7th periods. Wear your maroon and gold and show your Golden Aces school spirit!!
Doors open at 5:15 a.m. Students may enter from the Senior Lot or Junior High entrance. Attendance check in for MCHS students will be in the Junior High Lobby. Check in must be complete by 5:45 to get an ACE pass for 6th and 7th periods.

Due to low numbers in the Marshall football program, the JV football game scheduled for Monday, October 16th against Marshall has been cancelled. Mt. Carmel's JV team will now travel to Cristopher-Ziegler-Royalton on Monday, October 16th for a 5:00pm JV kickoff.

October 16-20 is Digital Citizenship Week! In honor of next week, we are having a flyer competition for Wabash 348 students. Designs can be made digitally or traditionally. The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, designed to provide recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free.
This Scholarship Application must be submitted by Dec. 1st.

Mt Carmel Junior/Senior High School will hold picture retakes on the morning of Monday, October 16. This is for any student or staff who did not get their picture taken on the original picture day and for those that need to return their pictures due to a problem with the picture. There will be a lunch menu change for tomorrow (Tuesday, October 10) and Wednesday (Wednesday, October 11). The menu items will be switched, so Tuesday will be Salisbury Steak and Wednesday will be Sloppy Joe.

You are invited to the first annual OCC Fine Arts Day at Olney Central College! This will be an exciting event to explore the Fine Arts! OCC Fine Arts Day will be held on Friday, October 27th at the OCC theater from 12-2 p.m. Students will attend performances from our music and theater departments and experience a live demonstration of a pottery wheel. Then you will have the opportunity to sit in two 20-minute sessions with one of our Art instructors from either, Instrumental performance, vocal performance, theater performance, or visual art..
