As a reminder, today is the last day to purchase Chromebook insurance for the year. The easiest way is to go to schooldevicecoverage.com. The cost of insurance for the school year is $20. The form is going to ask whether it is a Lenovo or an HP and also the serial number that is found on the bottom of the device. If it is hard to read, you can also sign out of the device and press "CTRL and V" at the same time and the SN will be listed at the top right hand corner of the screen. While I have you, there will be a menu change for Monday's lunch menu. It will be a ham and cheese on bun instead of the chicken patty.

The Industrial Tech classes were fortunate enough to have HLR Civil Engineering Firm visit and share with us what they do and the tools they use to survey and scan. They also explained what jobs are available after high school and the paths needed to work in the field. Thanks to HLR for the experience!

Hey there! My name is Weston DeShon, the Admissions Counselor at Franklin College for Wabash County students and I wanted to send you a quick email because I will be visiting Mount Carmel High School on Tuesday, September 14 @ 12:30 PM and I would love to meet with you. Franklin College has approximately 1000 undergraduate students so it will not overwhelm you like a big state school may do. Furthermore, we are only 20-30 minutes from Downtown Indianapolis so there are plenty of things to do on and off campus. It makes for a nice dynamic where you can get a big city feel, but not be right in the middle of the city Franklin College is a 4-year institution that participates at the NCAA Division 3 level. We offer over 50 different majors in different academic disciplines, 2 grad programs, and 21 men’s and women’s sports including a brand new eSports team!
