The MCHS Girls Soccer Match scheduled to start at 4:30pm today in Mt. Vernon, IL will now start at 6:00pm. The match will be played on the turf field behind their high school. The bus will leave at 3:30pm.
The MCHS Baseball game scheduled for Thursday, March 14th at Newton, will now be played at Dee White Field in Mt. Carmel on Thursday, March 14th with a 4:30pm start time.
Today marks the end of the 3rd quarter of school. Thankful for our faculty and staff as we push forward to the end of the school year. Go Aces!

FBLA has been busy volunteering at the SMS 5K last Saturday and the blood drive at MCHS today!

Good morning,
Last night, the School Board approved amending the school calendar to not be in session on April 8th, 2024. This is the date of the eclipse. Due to the excitement and mobilization of entire communities for this event, it became clear that it would be too difficult to be in session that day. To compensate for not being in session that day, the Board approved being in session on April 1st, 2024. April 1st was to be the last day of spring break, but now it will be an attendance day. I hope this change will be beneficial to all of you.
