On Friday, April 4, Jostens will be here during the lunch periods to distribute graduation announcements and tankards to MCHS Seniors. If money is still owed, it will need to be paid at that time. A huge thank you to Mallory Fuller & Reece Metcalf for holding mock interviews for Mrs. Witsman’s BComm class. The students have been creating resumes and cover letters, preparing responses for interviews, and producing videos with successful interview tips. The seniors are also diligently working on scholarships. The mock interviews were a great experience for our students and they did exceptionally well!
The 2025 DCFS Scholarship Application is live and available until March 31, 2025.
Applicant must meet one of the following educational requirements:
1. Earned a high school diploma from an accredited institution, or
2. Earned a General Education Development (GED) certificate/diploma or
3. Met the state criteria for high school graduation before the start of the school year for which they are applying for the scholarship.
In addition, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
4. The Department has court-ordered legal responsibility for the applicant, or
5. The applicant aged out of the Department’s care at age 18 or older, or
6. The applicant who was formerly under care has been adopted or placed in private guardianship.

Good evening. With the advancement of our Lady Aces Basketball team to the state semi-finals in Bloomington on Thursday, all Wabash 348 schools will not be in session on Thursday, March 6th. There are numerous families, students, and fans traveling that day to the game, and the District wants to promote attendance at this historic event for Lady Aces Basketball. At a later date, an amendment will be made to the school calendar to make up the mandatory attendance day. Go Aces!
Future Teachers Day at SEMO will be held on April 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This interactive event will give students a chance to explore the field of education, participate in hands-on workshops in the EDvolution Center, and connect with faculty and current students in our Educator Preparation Programs.
