The high school wrestling match against Lawrenceville scheduled for Wednesday, December 8th has been MOVED to Thursday, January 13th. The match will start at 6:00pm.
Some of our FBLA officers delivered 4 boxes of collected items to Safe Haven today in honor of #GivingTuesday. Thank you to all of those that donated!

The WVC Priority Application Deadline for Round 2 will end on February 25th. The scholarships are renewable for up to four semesters — Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, not including summer courses. The Interact Club at MCHS teamed up with Rise Against Hunger last Friday in Mount Vernon, IL. Students helped assemble food bags to send to countries around the world. They were able to bag 10,000 meals in a couple of hours. Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives and responding to emergencies.




Mount Carmel High School and Wabash Valley College will host a FAFSA night on December 6th from 5:30-7:00 at MCHS for seniors and their parents needing assistance with the FAFSA application. The Wood Manufacturing 2 class had the opportunity to visit Trey and Kelsey Beckerman at Maple Hill Restorations. Trey and Kelsey explained and demonstrated how they strip, repair, and refurbish furniture. Maple Hill is an excellent example of a small business serving the local community.

Seniors: A representative from McKendree University will be here on November 16th. There will be a sign up sheet in the guidance office.
Jostens will be at Mt. Carmel High School in the library Wed Nov 17 to take graduation orders from Seniors. Consumer Economic and American Government classes will be sent to the library to place orders for cap, gowns, etc. Those not in Consumer Economics or American Government classes will need to find a time that day to go to the library to place order. Parents are encouraged to help their Senior fill out the order form and determine what will be ordered.
