Immunization Requirement for Senior Year: All students entering 12th grade must show proof of 2 doses of Meningococcal. The 2nd dose must be given after 16 years of age or upon entry into 12th grade. If your child is 16 years old this requirement can be fulfilled now and no other health requirements are needed for Senior year.

District #348 Preschool for All will be conducting Child Find/Preschool Screenings for children ages 3 to 5 who are not yet enrolled in public schools and who are not kindergarten eligible.
The screening checks each child’s progress in hearing, vision, speech, language, and coordination skills. This will give parents a better idea of how their child is progressing at this very young age before they begin school. This screening program is free and parents will receive immediate feedback on how their child is developing. Head Start personnel will also be present to explain their program and services. Screenings will be held on August 29th, August 30th and August 31st. A limited amount of developmental screening for children ages 0-3 are also available. The screening procedure takes about 45 minutes, and appointments must be made so that children do not have a long wait period.

As we get closer to the beginning of the new school year, I need to bring attention to the work on the Elementary School parking lot. This work will continue for another few days and will at times close the entire parking lot. I ask that you be patient and understanding. The lot was in complete disrepair, and we are excited to have a stronger and safer lot ready for the new school year. Go Aces!
