Enjoy Christmas jazz performances at the Mount Carmel UPTOWN CHRISTMAS this Friday, December 6th, with the MCJH and MCHS JAZZ BANDS. The MCJHS Jazz Band will perform at 4:30 p.m., and the MCHS Jazz Band will follow at 5:30 p.m. The performances will be held inside the River Church Building at 315 N. Market Street.

The Mt. Carmel Jr. High Band placed first out of all the junior high bands in the 2024 Oblong Spooktacular parade on Saturday, Oct. 26, and was also awarded best percussion! The Oblong parade is the largest nighttime parade in Illinois and attracts over 30 High School and junior high bands from all over Illinois.
The junior high drum majors are Lucy Hall and Dani Arano. The Jr. Marching Aces are directed by Ellen Wall.
The October 24th Parent-Teacher Conference has been rescheduled for Tuesday, October 29, 2024, for all WCUSD #348 schools. The times will remain the same.

Students who took the Illinois Science Assessment last spring in Grades 5, 8, and 11 will be sent home with their test scores today. Parents below is a letter and instructions on how to get your student's test scores digitally .
